Data analytics tracking cookies

We track user behaivour in order to learn more about analytics packages and to infer improvements needed to make the site as streamlined and user friendly as possbile.

We do not currently collect any personal data from you via the site. We do not have a contact us, nor a search, nor a newsletter. There are no obvious calls to action other than a hotjar survey, though we do provide contact info to you if desired.

We do not know your name or any personally identifiable information. We are not big brother! We are life learners and want to understand technology & analytics better.

Google Analytics

Google analytics shows how many people visited the site from a given country and city, browser & device type, time of day visited, and whether they are a returning user. Drop off pages are visible. For example I saw one person from the Netherlands visit the page and go straight to privacy (this page.) So I use that information to review for accuracy and any updates needed.

HotJar

We use hot jar to watch click patterns. We are able to see device type and location.
