Born & raised in New England, USA. Born in the Green state Vermont. I attended primary & secondary schools in Connecticut, summers in Maine, higher ed in both. Damp spruce woods, wood stoves, cut grass, gentle breezes meant wind chimes, sailboats, and gentle waves on the lake. The sound of families laughing in the distance, and cars on a racetrack each weekend. Values included education, inclusivity, and wonder for the natural world. Lots of pets and creativity to have them travel 5-7 hours in the car.
Fast forward age 47. Ran live music streaming business in 3d world. Made lots of friends, met my husband to be, and had plenty of practice as a cross-functional collaborator to build that music product. Moved to southern England and explored the UK with my new husband, living the life or a newlywed at age 48. Found a higher ed publisher and soon transformed my career from business analysis for insurance to product management for higher ed. It makes sense.
Hobbies, besides raising 2 lovely female cats, garden design to attract birds and give the cats a safe place to play or hide, drawing, photography, and web development.
